Browser Tab

The Browser sub-tab provides a visual representation of the site's folder and file structure for ease of navigation.  The Sites and Folders column, displays a hierarchical listing of website hosts, folders, and object types using visual icons.  The contents of a host/folder in the Sites and Folders column can be displayed by a left mouse-click on that host/folder.  The folder will now be highlighted in red and the contents of that folder will be displayed in the detail area to the right of the gray vertical line separator.  The detail area displays the contents of the folder selected under the following column headings - Name, Menu, Status, Description, Mod. User, and Mod Date.

Website Browser

The Browser display window shows selected folder content in four columns:

  • Name - displays the sub-folder name, webpage name, or filename. Click on the "Name" column heading to re-order search results by name.
  • Menu - displays numeric menu ordering of the sub-folders, HTML pages, and files that have the "Show on Menu" property active. Click on the "Menu" column heading to re-order search results by page menu order.
  • Status - displays the visual icon status for HTML pages and Files.  A green icon indicates "published", a yellow icon indicates "saved" or "working" status, and a red icon indicates that the file has been "archived".  "Archived" files display only when the the "Show Archived" link has been clicked on the bottom right hand corner of the browser page (see figure above). The status also shows if the file or HTML page has been locked (yellow lock icon) or is currently unlocked (gray lock icon)
  • Description - displays the page/menu title for HTML pages/files respectively.  Sub-folders display blank in this column.
  • Mod. User - displays the name of the last backend user making a modification to the file/HML Page. Sub-folders display blank in this column.  Click on the "Mod. User" column heading to re-order search results by backend user.
  • Mod. Date - displays the last date and time of modification. Sub-folders display blank in this column.  Click on the "Mod. Date" column heading to re-order search results by modification date/time.
Folder Right-Click Options

The Browser tab also allows the addition/editing of website hosts, folders, and objects by right-clicking on an item's visual icon.  A right mouse-click on a folder allows the user to Edit, Delete, or Publish all objects in the folder.  Additionally, you may Copy, Cut, add New objects to the folder, or Close the right-click options (see right).

A right mouse-click on a host allows the user to Add Folder, Edit, Set As Default, *Delete the host, create a New Host, or Close the right-click options (see left).

*Caution: Deleting at the host level will delete all folders and web assets within that host.
