Learn how to create, resolve and modify workflow tasks in the Workflow Tasks portlet of the dotCMS.

Filtering Tasks

From the Maximized View of the Workflow Tasks Manager there are a variety of filter fields provided for searching for specific Workflow Tasks:

  • Title - provided for a keyword search on by workflow task title
  • Created by - filter by user who created the task
  • Created between - filter by date range when task was created
  • Status - filter All, Open, Resolved, or Cancelled tasks ("Open" by default)
  • Description - filter by keyword(s) appearing in description field of the task
  • Assigned To - filter by user who is currently assigned to the task
  • Modified between - filter by date range when task was modified
  • Associated Type - choose a Content Type, "Webpage", or "No Associated Type" to filter tasks by the dotCMS object they are related to

The displayed list of Workflow Tasks can also be sorted ascending/descending by clickin on the underlined column headings.
