Permissions on Objects

There are a wide  range of object in the dotCMS which can all be permissioned with groups and roles, either system or custom. This will allow a dotCMS administrator to determine what combination of objects each user should have access to.

Depending on the object, the methodology of permissioning may differ. However, the overall concept remains the same, and moreover the majority of the objects are permissioned by roles.
